Gina M Ort

Gina is a paralegal with KL Injury Attorneys. She brings 20 years of personal injury experience to The Firm. Gina began her career helping victims of personal injury in the state of Illinois in 1999. Her passion for helping victims spurred her to obtain her Paralegal Degree in 2001 and she continued her path of education by completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Organizations. Gina was entrusted with running a personal injury firm in Illinois, where she handled all aspects of personal injury cases, including initiation of client contact, managing over complex medical treatment, overseeing several paralegals managing significant caseloads, and helping clients obtain significant compensation for their pain and suffering resulting from another’s negligence.

Gina relocated her family to Florida in 2015, settling in Cape Coral with her husband and twin daughters. She joined KL Injury Attorneys in November of 2015 and has since maintained a significant role in the pre-litigation department. Gina works closely with managing partners Ian Kleinman and Bennett Lessmann to help clients with every facet of their personal injury cases, including intake of new clients, managing complex medical treatment cases, servicing all clients in a prompt and diligent manner, and working to obtain clients the remedy they deserve after being injured by someone else’s negligence. Gina has been instrumental in The Firm’s successful case outcomes and the way she keeps things simple and easy for clients during a difficult period.

During her time away from work Gina is raising twin daughters – Sicilia and Abbi – with her husband Mike. They enjoy spending time with their children, watching them play soccer and enjoying the wonders of Southwest Florida. Gina and her husband also have a passion for motorcycles and have spent years with affiliated organizations that performed outreach with the community.
